| have
met lots of fine mini horse owners. We have earned our
share
of high point awards, blankets, trophies, honour roll standings,
and ribbons and have enjoyed every minute of it. Every year
brings a new challenge, a new horse to show, and a whole pile
of anticipation. Since we
started showing we have seen many rewards in the show ring.
This has helped us confirm that at Lombard Farm it will always
be quality not quantity.
In
2008 we plan to attend miniature horse shows in the US and Canada
and we are looking forward to showing Lombard's Canadian
Maid in Senior mare Lombard's Ginger Snap
in country pleasure driving. Lombard's Canadian Maple
Sugar will enjoy a stay in the US where Lee Crutchfield
from Aloha will be getting her in show shape and presenting
her. Our new little boy Century Farm's Alakazzam
will spend his yearling year with working with Tiffany Porter.
Both
Pip & I wish that we could credit our success to our own
good planning but the truth is that KC Pappas is our inspiration
to produce the best we can. We know that we will never work
as hard as she does but we are proud to call her a friend and
take almost as much pride as she does with her results.
Watch
for us at the shows and we look forward to having you stop by
and say hi. |
