“Gambler”
a Senior Gelding and our driving horse was born June 12th, 1996
at J Bar H Farm on Vancouver Island. His Dam was Hemlock Brook’s
Silver Duchess while his sire was Shadow Oaks Prince Charming
(Magnum). Gambler is a multi Champion with many Grand Championships
and High Point Wins in both halter and performance events including
driving, Hunter, and Jumping.
We
love to drive our Minis. While Minis can only carry 65 pounds
their backs, a well-trained and "in-shape" Miniature
Horse can pull 700 pounds in a cart all day long. They are fun
to drive and train, and because of their size, they are much safer
for children. In 2003 we plan to enter Gambler in combined driving
events as well as AMHA driving classes.
